Galaxy Note 8 Repairs
With the advent of Samsung’s new flagship phone, it won’t be long before repairs are needed, and we here at FedTronix are more than prepared to deal with them.
The Note 8 boasts some very impressive hardware, especially at a price point more than $100 below its Apple counterpart, the iPhone X. It’s armed with up to 128Mb expandable storage, a 6.3” 1440 x 2960 Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 835 Octa-core CPU, and a 12 megapixel camera, as well as double the RAM of the X. However, all these improvements do show in the weight and size of the phone, it being roughly 40g heavier and 4mm thicker than the iPhone X. Despite this, it consolidates its internal space quite well, and boasts a similar structure to the S8.
This phone has decent ease of reparability as well, considering most of its parts are easily removed and replaced. The downside to its structure, though, is that to replace the screen, which is generally the most common repair for any phone, both the back glass panel and the screen must be removed. Both of these parts are quite fragile and held on by a large amount of strong adhesive, so unfortunately this issue may raise prices on screen repair, as there is a high risk of damaging the screen or back glass. As always, though, we will price-match to our competitors, and provide the best possible service we can.
